Siech Cycles is a Swiss bicycle brand known for producing elegant and comfortable retro-style city bikes and accessories. Their product range includes a wide variety of models tailored to the needs of both adults and children.

At the beginning of our collaboration, the B2B platform in the Siech Cycles store was not fully implemented. However, the client already had a project based on the Shopify Trade template, which is designed for B2B sales. Our task was to fully implement this project and integrate it into the Shopify ecosystem.
Key challenges in this project included:
– Synchronising products between the B2C and B2B stores,
– Optimising the collection view to include both a classic product display and an order table for B2B customers,
– Adapting navigation and the user interface to business standards, considering the specifics of wholesale purchasing,
– Customising product pages to include variants, technical specifications, and additional delivery information.

To create a fully functional B2B platform, we customised the Shopify Trade template to align with the client’s wholesale sales model. We redesigned collection views, adding a tabular layout in addition to the standard product grid. This feature enables B2B customers to quickly and efficiently add multiple products to their cart while viewing unit prices, availability, and product statuses.
We optimised the product page by allowing a direct selection of variants for fast ordering. The product page was also enhanced with sections containing key technical specifications and delivery details. Additionally, we implemented product synchronisation between the B2C and B2B stores using the Multistore Sync app, ensuring automatic transfer of product data.
The store is multilingual, offering versions in English, German, Italian, and French, along with multiple currencies to facilitate international sales. Key features such as restricted store access, individual customer accounts, and dedicated pricing ensure that the platform is fully tailored to the specifics of wholesale trade.

As a result of our efforts, we created an advanced and fully functional B2B e-commerce platform that enables Siech Cycles to manage wholesale sales efficiently. The platform is based on a Collection View layout. The store operates in four languages (English, German, Italian, and French) and supports multi-currency transactions through Shopify Markets.
We customised the Shopify Trade template, adapting it to the client’s needs and introducing additional views on the collection page. The store is a closed platform, accessible only to verified B2B customers with individual accounts. Thanks to these solutions, Siech Cycles is able to expand into wholesale sales in European markets.
